There might be nothing that goes so well with
cool, crisp November weather like live jazz music. It was cool, smooth, and had
our residents enchanted Sunday afternoon. The young ensemble, Temple Avenue, turned our living room into as close to
a beatnik coffee house as it was ever going to get. They played a
variety of arrangements of classic pieces from jazz's finest composers, such as
Miles Davis and Clifford Brown. The group, featuring saxophonist Seth
Ebersole, bassist Jack Synoski, drummer Austin Wagner, and pianist Colin Mekeel
filled our living room with energy, warmth, and full-bodied music that
we stick with us all winter long.
We are committed
At Juniper we are committed to nurturing the spirit of life in each individual we serve so that they may live fully throughout all seasons of life. To us this means understanding an individual, not only their needs but their desires and responding with programs and services which provide for the highest quality of life possible. Our Alive in All Seasons program of activities is designed to foster healthy bodies, enriched minds and fulfilled spirits. These pictures and stories are living proof that we at Juniper are dedicated to walking our talk!
